Get to work on it today.
There are so many factors in life that wear us down, such as our compartimentalized life, work obligations, family obligations. The result is damage that ages us fast, but also is the seed for chronic disease and aging badly.
Do you recognize that feeling? I think we both agree that health is largely due to lifestyle. So how do you find a healthy lifestyle without exessive continuous costs, medication, or slaving yourself at the gym or giving up on the sofa?
Let me tell you that you are your own best medicine. This is what daoist Healers have told us for over 2500 years. The secret is not in medicine or exercise, but in learning 'How to move', like how the rest of nature does this, and that is Moving like Bamboo. So what the online course wants to teach you is how to move like bamboo, and make that your first choice in lifestyle.
Chinese Daoist Medicine is the authentic medicine of China. It roots in the observation of nature. It observed that health depends on how we move and on how much time we spend moving in accord with the flow of time through the day and year.
When we go against the principles of nature we accumulate damage and this damage generates premature aging. Developing health and disease follow a similar principle, namely that of 'cumulation': the effects are always gradual untill they become almost irreversible.
In the program you first go through an introduction about how to get the most of out of the program.
Second it explains some base principles and moves.
Third you start learning the formula from basic to full practice.
Forth you learn some more about bamboo and its natural transformative process, how it fits in the whole of life, and other practices.
The formula requires to do several exercises in sequence to achieve a particular effect. But besides the order of the moves, amounts of repetitions, how to use your attention, the order of attention to details of moves all matter.
The movement style is organic and has to be adapted to the specific needs of your body. In our discussion group and privately you receive guidance on how to correct yourself in relationship to your needs.
From experience I know you need someone to advise you during the learning process, but you will need more than conversation and monitoring of your moves. There are frequent public online classes you can join, and we have a accountability program to help you monitor your progress in personal and physical transformation by marking the changes over time. This program remains accessible to you long after your learning time is finished.
I practice Qigong since about 50 years and learned Bamboo Qigong as part of Zhong wujigong. I must admit. For me at the beginning I didn't think this qigong was it for me. So after a period of not practicing it a lot, I decided to start teaching it for my elderly and students weakened by disease. Besides realizing how powerful a tool it is for this group of people, I noticed over time that the qigong had a greater impact on me than I realized. So nowadays I rank this among my own favourite practices
